Darkness on a Bright Morning  by Hai Took 3 Review(s)

Another very nice one to re-read. I love Pippin's firm insistence on comforting Merry, even though Merry didn't feel he deserved to be comforted. And the lamb was such a sweet touch!

Author Reply: Pippin knows what Merry needs even if Merry doesn't know himself, doesn't he? I have to thank Marigold for the lambs, they were inspired by her challenge starter :)

Yes, at last they are indeed in civilized places. And I'm so glad they are, even if they have to deal with nightmares along the way. And they do have one another.

Author Reply: I imagine eating sparsely was the biggest ordeal the hobbits had to go through! ;) It is always good to have friends that understand! Thanks for reviewing!

I love this one! Pippin and Merry are so close here and Pippin is such a help to Merry. Pippin always has such a positive outlook. I think that is one of the reasons that he is my favorite hobbit. Lovely story!

Author Reply: Pippin is quite positive, I suppose that is what makes him so wonderful! I wish I could be that positive in all situations. Thanks for taking the time to review!
