I'm gonna cry now

Oh, Merry...

Wow, this was a wonderful chapter! There really should be more stories centered around Merry... Keep up the hard work!

Author Reply: Thank you for your comments! I'm delighted that you're enjoying this. "Guarding the Shire" and "A Matter of Time", two of my very early stories, also highlight Merry. :)

I love Sam! He's just so polite! Sometimes it's ever so amusing the way he adds Mr. to everyone in the fellowship.

Why, Theoden? Why did he have to kill you? Why did you have to die? *Sobs*

Author Reply: I love Sam, as well. He's such a dear and humble hobbit.

Good story! :-) Thanks for writing, I enjoyed it!

Author Reply: Thank you so much. This story started out as a one-chapter fic, then somehow grew and grew.

I'm still trying to find out what 'the Mark' means. Heehee... :-)

I can't imagine it, this separation. Too much to comprehend is very correct...

Glad that Merry is feeling better. :-)

So, right. I'm trying to picture Arwen having a smoke ring blowing contest w Aragorn -- and you're totally right, it's just not happening... :-P

I liked the conversation about Gimli and Legolas -- just everyday friends talking about everyday things.... 'Gimli's all excited about seeing some caves again, and Legolas doesn't want to go but can't get out of it...' :-)

Uh oh...well, what's going on here? Poor Merry... :-(

Author Reply: Dear Merry will be comforted and healed soon enough. I wouldn't have it any other way. :)

'... and he was still unscathed, and he was young, and he was king: the lord of a fell people.' Maybe my favorite line about Eomer in the books. Funny to compare their ages to the hobbits, who always seem young because of their innocence. But, I suppose Men grow up a bit faster than hobbits, too.

Enjoying!

Author Reply: It was interesting to learn that Eomer was so young, at least through hobbit eyes.

That was a lovely read. My reviews may seem repetitive, but I did indeed like this story. It touched me very much, and I like your title. It fits perfectly. Wonderful job!

Author Reply: Thank you so much! I'm very happy you enjoyed this.

(If Faramir is your favorite, another story of mine you might like is "Reunion in Minas Tirith".)
