| Pippin is a real schemer! I loved how he rushed Merry into getting rid of the evidence! Merry's instant decision to shoulder the blame to protect Pippin was terrific and made me think of adult Merry, who would willingly give up his life to protect his younger cousin. The way that both of them stand up for one another is wonderful! I *love* your young Merry and little Pip! You write them as so age appropriate, not just as individual characters, but in their relationship with each other. I think that the way you are able to do that is just fantastic. That isn't an easy thing to do and you manage it flawlessly! More stories please!! | |
