LOL! Loved it! I think you interpreted those looks perfectly! ::giggles::

Of course you know that now I'm going to have to spend my entire 4 day weekend watching all 3 movies, right? ::walks off laughing wildly:: :D

I love this scene - there seem to be so many weapons to be removed! It doesn't surprise me at all that Legolas kept one or two tucked away though.

I also liked Gandalf doing his 'helpless old man' act, and leaning on Legolas's arm as they crossed the hall :>)

Author Reply: Always have to laugh at Legolas' expression as he offers his arm as well ;-)

I can definitely see this scene as you have rewritten it . Leggy DID look quite perturbed at the thought of being completely disarmed. ^_^ & Shann, as for the small knives in his sleeves, they would be tucked under his leather gauntlets (isn't that what they are called ?) & the idea of a blade tucked against his back is, well... you know.
I think that his leather jerkin would disguise it's prescence. (okay, I can't spell... but you get the idea. uhmmm, maybe I have thought it through too much...)

Author Reply: lol! Yea I think you have thought about it too much ;-) But yes exactly... gauntlets and jerkin would have ensured that the knives wouldn't be easily seen :-D

That scene in TTT makes me laugh every time. It seems like they strip off weapons for a good three minutes. But you're right! The elf must have kept one or two anyway.

Author Reply: Elves ;-) Devious creatures I am told :-D I love watching the guards expressions as the weapons are piled on :-D

This puts so much humor into this scene! Nice job. :D

Author Reply: I know...! I had to laugh even as I wrote it :-)

Wishing he could smack Aragorn on the head, eh? Smart Leggy! But how were the daggers fastened to his wrists and his back? I can see in the boots, but I do not remember his tunic being that tight, which would outline the shape of the daggers anyways.

I enjoyed this, and the second one. You can just feel Eomer's pain.

Author Reply: lol... Legolas' jerkin and gauntlets would have sufficently hidden any weapons on his wrist or back :-) They are supposed to be hidden is one thing as well ;-)

Thanks for the review!

A proper Elf, making certain he continues to be properly protected. And clouting either wizard or man now wouldn't be politic--better to retain the studiously controlled neutral attitude.
