Uh-oh. They do have a little problem there, it seems.

Faramir is a good guy. He's flexible, he thinks on his feet, he picks his battles, and he has an instinctive understanding of how best to give cheer to a demoralized army. He is truly doing yeoman's work in this story, and one must admire him for that.

Oh, this is great. I do not yet really understand all that has happened, especially the first chapter is quite a riddle to me. But it's clear that you know exactly what you are doing, and all is well-thought out. I'm looking forward to seeing more.

You killed such a lot of people, I'm just glad that this is an AU!

Complex and interesting chapter. I liked the conversation between Faramir and the Arnorians - nice touch, having the comparison of injuries received on the Pelennor because of the Nazgul.

Lothiriel and Eowyn rise nicely to the occasion.

When will Faramir meet pregnant Arwen? And in this AU, when did she marry Aragorn?

And so there remains an heir to Isildur after all. And Faramir would seek to keep Gondor and Arnor separated, perhaps? Interesting.

Now, to learn how Frodo truly fares....

Author Reply: Not an undisputed heir, but a claimant, yes. His position re: Arnor is fairly similar to Eärnil's re: Gondor. Faramir's motivations are . . . they will become clear in due time. Thanks!

Frodo's going to be okay, physically, care of Elrohir.
