The Witch-King's Cloak  by Radbooks 9 Review(s)

Loved it. I imagine there is a tailor somewhere on the run, laughing up his sleeve at the to short cloak he made.

Author Reply: Glad you enjoyed it. I never thought about the tailor doing it on purpose... seems a very dangerous thing to do! Thanks for reviewing.

HA!
* ahem * That was just too funny - perfect for a good laugh on a screwed-up Monday......

Author Reply: Glad to make you laugh on a Monday. Thanks for reviewing!

Now THIS is hilarious! And I suppose the poor hapless tailor is an orc of some sort. How wonderful to think of what that confrontation is going to be like! Heh! The fifty yards of cloth per costume has always impressed me.

Author Reply: Glad you enjoyed this, Larner. It was a different type of story for me, but it was one I HAD to write. I just watched FOTR a couple of weeks ago and seeing those swirling Nazgul cloaks being lit on fire just struck me for some reason. I would hate to be the tailor who is going to meet up with the Witch-king! In my mind the tailor was one of the human slaves that Sauron had, just because I couldn't see an orc sewing, but I suppose some orcs could be trained for that. Thanks for reviewing!

LOL.
This was a nice story, perfect for starting a horrible Monday.

I totally feel his pain, I mean clothes nowadays are just not what they use to be. I agree with the king. Is it too much to ask for a decent tailor and hairdresser in life?

Thanks for the wonderful story! Definitely a geat start to a dreary work week.

Author Reply: I'm glad you enjoyed the story. Ah, a hairdresser, that would be a wonderful thing to have! Clothes I can find, but a hairdresser would be nice. :) Thanks for reviewing.

That was fun. Sometimes it's nice to be a bit flippant about it all!LBJ

Author Reply: Thanks for reviewing, it is good to have fun with the characters and the story at times.

Oh this is soooo much fun Radbooks. What a nice way to brighten up my Monday morning blues - thanks. Perhaps you could write the follow up scene where he loses even the second cloak at the Ford and has to go back cloakless! That must have made him even more cross!

Author Reply: I'm glad you enjoyed this, harrowcat. I'm sure that the Witch-king was not pleasant to be around when he returned to Minas Morgul - I'm sure none of them were... I'd hate to have to face them! Thanks for reviewing!

Raksha The DemonReviewed Chapter: 1 on 11/6/2006
Snork! Witchie-Poo's spare cloak was too short and insufficiently black; I love it.

I begin to feel sorry for the little tailor of Minas Morgul.

Author Reply: Thanks for reviewing, Raksha! I'm glad you enjoyed this little bit of fun. I feel a bit sorry for the tailor, but maybe the Witch-king will be so desperate for a new cloak - since he'll lose this one in the Bruinen - by the time he gets to Minas Morgul, that the tailor will survive! :)

Hee hee! Well, clothes do make the Ringwraith, they say! Good catch on the movie...you're right, they all must have had a change of clothes in their saddlebags. Thanks for the chuckle!

Author Reply: Thanks for reviewing! It was just one of those things that struck me after watching the movie so many times and I just HAD to write it. :)
