| Oh, I forgot to mention I liked that his doom comes nearer at a gallop. Yes, Éowyn, Merry! ….though he shouldn’t feel too bad, because he causes the death of Théoden and presumably others, and dearly hurts others and their family members, such as Faramir, Éowyn, Merry, Éomer, etc. It’s a good thing Aragorn comes, as I mention in my own story. Though that gives me an idea: what if Aragorn comes and confronts Angmar (before the latter is killed, or imagine for a second he can be killed by men, or at least the king.) What would happen next? | |

| Wow. First off, until about the second paragraph, I didn’t realize it was Gandalf—which is ok! Secondly, the wording is great! I suppose Gandalf and Sauron are both Maia, which would make them brothers. Interesting to think about. …just ponder what would have happened if Boromir and Faramir got into a similar situation—or even more similar, as I suspect they were born/created at the same time, Elladan and Elrohir. “Manwë himself appointed me to counter your Master, my own brother, even as he countered the Master of your Master, who was his brother in the thought of the Creator. Your own Death is come--at last.” Also what a Gandalf sentence. | |

| Oh! How did Amandil get there? Hmmmm where did he go? I read he had gone to Aman for Aid before Pharazôn sailed. And when Elendil and his ships left and floundered, waves came and delivered them to M.E. And I always thought Pharazôn and Co. drowned…but if it was more than that….is plausible. | |

| Oh! Oh! …And what do Aragorn and Éomer think of this proposal? And it just occurred to me that Gimli was Lord of Aglarond even after the death of Éomer. Perhaps he also became great friends with Elfwine, and his son as named in another fic (in this collection), Théodred, as well. | |
