In Perfect Harmony  by Gryffinjack 2 Review(s)

What a delightful beginning to their relationship! Pip was so sweet and helpful, and your account of her accomplishment just made me smile. It's so *satisfying* to do something yourself you've never done before! And it's nice that tree climbing is something the two of them still enjoy doing together. They're like a couple of elves, lol. In fact, the memory of the 3 boys playing in the tree like that made me think of wood-elf children playing.

I'm glad Pippin was able to distract himself from those last few miles remembering such happy times together, and that he's finally there.

Author Reply: Thank you! Diamond was indeed quite happy with herself for finally climbing a tree. I think Pippin and Diamond will be climbing trees until they are so old and their bones are so brittle that it becomes too dangerous to climb! lol!

I am thrilled at your comparison of Diamond and Pippin (as well as Diamond's brothers) to elves! It's one aspect of the faerie blood inherited by the Tooks (and North-Tooks).

A wonderful memory to have of assisting through instruction and not doing too much for her. And Diamond and he have that to share for the rest of their lives. Am so glad he's finally made it with the assistance of these wonderful memories.

Author Reply: Happy memories do help make time go by quicker, and Pippin has many happy memories of the times he has spent with Diamond. However, I'm sure he could not reach her side soon enough to suit him.

Pippin is a very intelligent hobbit who is also quite sensitive to the needs of others. I'm glad you approved of the amount of help he gave Diamond with climbing the tree.

Thanks for reviewing!
