| I like how he ties the current battle into the history of his fathers, all the way back to Finwë. And how he knows it will be his final day, and still charges into battle. The weariness is clear, but so is the determination and pride - he knows he is doing the right thing, and that is enough to sustain him. And you are right that Gil-galad as a grandson of Fingolfin just makes so much sense! *grin* | |
