| Wow! I missed this chapter and it is spell-binding - to say the least. Excellent tension all the way along. I loved Aragorn's resolve and his tenacity, but my goodness, the two of them are suffering! Author Reply: Well, at least you got to read the chapter now. :o) I'm very glad that you enjoyed it and that it kept you spellbound throughout. Aragorn is a determined soul, isn't he? That's a good thing. L & A are definitely suffering. Poor guys. | |

| Happy New Year? For whom? You are leaving us with Legolas drowning and Aragorn surfing somewhere in a raging torrent of water and yet you wish us a Merry Christmas. That is pure wickedness! *g* Merry Christmas and a wonderful New your to you and yours too! Author Reply: Oh dear. It seems the plot bunny has outdone himself this time. Everyone seems unhappy that L & A are being left in the situation they are in. I have to agree that it is pure wickedness. Loved the way you described Aragorn's predicament: surfing somewhere in a torrent of water. That's a wild vision. | |

| We see things from each one's point of view, and an overview of both. And as usual, you move us out of one crisis smack into the next! Way to leave us hanging! (But of course, we love every word of it!) Author Reply: I like showing things from different points of view. I think it adds a richer texture to the story. L & A wouldn't know what to do with themselves if they weren't in some kind of a mess. Glad you love it! | |

| Aaagh! May we please have Legolas at least right-side-up and breathing for the Holidays? Please! Of course, your chapter did what you intended, left us high and dry until the next one...but... Author Reply: That would have been nice, but it's too late now. The dear elf will just have to hold his breath a while longer. Suspense is a good thing, don't you agree? | What? No! How can you leave it there and then calmly wish us a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year? Seriously though, a highly enjoyable chapter as usual. You've really managed to convey the tension and anxiety of the situation. Both of our heroes seem to be at the very end of their endurance. I don't see how they could have got much further on their own two feet even without the mishap in the river. Where are those horses? If your plot bunny is still in control, I'd say it's a safe bet that Legolas will get rescued from the river just in the nick of time, but by a troll. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, too! Author Reply: It's easy. The cliffie comes from the plot bunny; the holiday wishes come from me. :o) I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter and the description of the scenes. The guys are indeed at the end of their endurance, but it looks like they are in a situation that will call for even more strength from them. I can't tell you about the horses just yet.
