Trolls  by White Wolf 6 Review(s)

That chapter set the pulse racing! It was a thrilling moment when Legolas killed Scron and truly shocking when he turned on Aragorn. He must be just about on his last legs now. If they have to run for it I don't know how he's going to manage. Isn't it time their horses showed up?

Author Reply: It makes me smile when I can evoke strong emotions in my readers. I didn't think anyone would see either of Legolas's attacks coming, especially the one against Aragorn. Our dear elf is on his last legs, so I'm sure he wouldn''t get far, if he had to run for it.

I agree! Where are those horses?

I don't think I've commented before - but I wanted to take this moment to tell you I've been enjoying your tale. And I truly hope that the two of them are now very close to being free - I hope!

Author Reply: I'm always happy to welcome a new reviewer. I'm also happy you are enjoying the story. I think L & A would agree with you about being free. We'll see if they can finally manage it.

You do keep cranking up the angst and the pace don't you! I hope the orc blood that must have been on that blade doesn't poison the wound that Legolas has just made onAragorn.

Author Reply: Yeah, I have a bad habit of doing that. As far as I know, troll blood isn't poisonous, so we can assume that Aragorn is safe from that problem, at least. :o)

Good to see Scron dead and no longer a threat; but now to find their horses and GET OUT OF THERE! I'm with Aragorn--enough is ENOUGH, already, and Legolas truly needs a chance to relax and heal properly without being interrupted every hour or so by more of the Enemy's constructs! Gads!

Author Reply: Yeah, another troll leader bites the dust. That would seem to be the next order of busness. They just have to get it done, but they always seem to find the hard way of doing things. You've summed up Legolas's needs rather nicely. Let's hope it won't be long before he gets it.

Way to go Legolas. I think Legolas will have no memory of this berserker rage as he has a nasty head injury and will eventually collapse. Elrond you are needed. I hope the shouting is actually help coming and not more trolls. They could use a real break. Good, Scron is dead. Now to leave the rest of the trolls in the dust. Neither of our boys are thinking straight right now. So hopefully they misjudged the noise. Update soon. By the way, how many chapters will this be? Thanks for the fairly quick update.

Author Reply: Legolas can be surprising sometimes, even though we all know what he's capable of doing. I'm afraid he is suffering right now. Too bad Elrond isn't around. The shouting isn't help coming. Sorry. L & A could definitely use a break, so maybe they will get away.

I will update as soon as I can. I'm not sure how many chapters this story will have. I know where it's going, but I haven't finished writing it yet. I can tell you it won't be too much longer.

Very, very nice. Sometimes, when stories go over twenty chapters it feels like the author is dragging things out for the sake of a long story, but not here. Good work- nice descriptions, dialogue, all that.

Author Reply: Thank you. I never try to drag out stories, and I'm glad you think I haven't done that here.. If anything, I try to keep them from getting out of control. :o) I'm very happy that you like the various elements of the story.
