| Nothing like the heat of summertime to get to a child. But lots of cold water perk things up a bit, good for both elves and kid. Author Reply: I agree. Swimming was always my favorite way to beat the summer heat as a child. I'm sure Estel was quite glad that Elrond thought of it. | |

It must be difficult for Elves to understand the frailties of Men, but these three try very hard to do so.
