now we must choice: was it the flight in the corset or the joy of living past being stuffed and dressed that made the fowl more fertile.

Author Reply: An interesting question! And one we will never know the answer to. Thanks for reading! :D

How wonderful to find Saradoc up to his ears in mischief for a change1 I just knew Merry had to have inherited it from somewhere.

The description of the goose in the bridal corset had me in hysterics! No wonder Prim was a bit put out. And it seems to have had the desired effect - at least on the geese!

Thanks for that!

Author Reply: Well, they do say that you'll have kids who are exactly like you as a child. Merry had to have gotten some of his traits from his dear old dad. Saradoc's worse though; I can't imagine Merry leaving Pippin alone to deal with a riled up goose!

This is an experience that goose won't soon forget! It'll likely never leave its pen again. And Prima will likely never think of geese in the same way ever again either. It's probably a good thing that baker made the cake to look like ducks. ;)

Thanks so much for reading! I'm glad you got a laugh out of this. :)

So that's why Primula and Drogo only managed one little Frodo!

I can't imagine the lads were very popular with their female kin for a while. And the phrase 'dress a goose' must have given them cold shivers for many a year.

Watching from that hayloft must have been hilarious.

Author Reply: Yep, the mystery has been solved. ;)

If they weren't being laughed at, they were being glared at. Poor lads, they were only trying to do something nice and it quite completely backfired on them. This might very well be one of those 'scarred for life' events, lol. Even years later, they get testy if someone mentions it. :)

I don't know how those ostlers and washing lasses didn't give themselves away. They displayed a lot of restraint.

Thanks for reading!

Heehee! I love it! I don't know who to feel sorrier for, the lads, Primula, or the goose! *grin*

Author Reply: I think the sympathy has to go to the lads. They're going to feel awful about this for quite awhile. I don't think Saradoc ever truly got over it, lol. ;) I suppose the goose *could* have nightmares over this, but it's unlikely. Primula recuperated from her shock well, once the she was assured that the corset wasn't tainted and could be repaired.

Thanks so much for reading!
