| “You don’t want to wait for Frodo?” Bilbo asked hopefully. “Nope,” Pippin replied in an easy manner. “I would like to know now, please.” LOL! That's wonderful! Little Pippin is very persistent, but he did add a "please". So, Frodo sent Merry to put the frog in Pearl's bed? That rascal! Bilbo's right: he still has to be looked after ;-) Author Reply: I'm glad you liked! I'm sure Eglantine & Paladin will be very pleased to know how polite their little lad can be. :) I think Bilbo secretly enjoys being kept on his toes by the former 'terror of Buckland.' LOL! | LOL! Oh my goodness, that is too cute! Leave it to Pippin to ask the impossible questions! And the frogs...LOL! I can see that--"Pearl loves frogs, Merry. Just leave her one on her pillow tonight. She'll be so pleased." Yeah right! *grin* God bless, Galadriel Author Reply: This story was inspired by my random thoughts. When I first read the Hobbit, I wondered "hmm, so how _does_ Gandalf know Bilbo would make a good burglar?' Other than the smallness & silent feet of a hobbit, of course. Out of all the hobbits, Pippin seemed the likliest to have these questions as well. I know ... shame on Frodo for telling Merry that frogs were Pearl's absolute favorite animals. NOT!!!! This was my first Pippin fic & I'm glad you enjoyed it. Now that Bilbo has seen Pippin in action, he'll be sure not to get caught alone with him again, as lovable as the little guy is.
