Going Home  by Antane 2 Review(s)
Queen GaladrielReviewed Chapter: 999999 on 8/7/2006
Wow! So we've reached the end of this part of the journey at last. But only this part-I hope...no, I know there is much more ahead! :)

I loved the gentle arguments and teasing, and the conspirasies! Dear me! Again, I'll say all three of those things are so blessedly familiar, and oh! how I've missed them and the dear instigator(s?). :) :) I also love the kissing hands and the great circle of vases, and of course all the precious letters, to name just a few things.

Again, I congratulate you on being one of the most creative with my little lines that rhyme! Wow! What you did with my loooooong booooooring counting song was absolutely brilliant! I still hold to the fact that the song itself doesn't make a whole lot of sense (but that's my fault, and honestly I don't really mind in the least :)), but you certainly took care of the monotony! :) If ever I write something else that I think is too boring, I'm sending it right to you! *grin*

The last two chapters were so peaceful, and yet they had me just crying my heart out. Good-byes...I just can't bear them any more. But what a blessed homecoming, to see Frodo running into the arms that hadn't held him since he was twelve! Oh! A beautiful way to end a marvellous series!

I know I've said it before, but I want to tell you again what a joy it's been to walk this road with you and our hobbits, and to help you and them along the way with my small contributions of songs. As I've said before, some of my very best memories of fanfic have been those times when you'd e-mail me with a request for a song by such and such a time, fit for such and such a situation. A lot of times I'd find myself thinking, "Oh my word, what in the name of wonder am I going to give her? And how in the *world* will I have it done in time?!" Then I'd reply to the e-mail, say, "Here goes," and just start writing, with no clear idea of what I was going to write. It was and is delightful, and has helped me so much, taught me that you don't always have to plan what to do-you just have to do it. :) I know I'm the one receiving the favour, not doing it, but know that if ever you need any more, e-mail me one of your impromptu requests, and we'll take it from there! :) Congratulations, my dear, and I-we-positively can't wait for more!!!!
Namarie! Hantanyel for such a wonderful four-part anna! (And sorry for the very broken Quenya; I'm working on it. :))
God bless,
Galadriel

P.S. Could you lend me one of your teachers? Preferably Galien? I want to learn Quenya now! :)

Author Reply: Wow right back to you, ammelda! What a review! :) So glad you enjoyed and hantanyel again for enriching it with your songs! Feel free to have Galien as an instructor. I'll take the one who taught Sam. :) :)

Namarie, God bless, Melinyel, Antane

This is wonderful! I think this has happened to me to an extent too, by getting involved in LotR and making me actually adress these issues like life and death that I just took for granted before. I love that there are other people out there actively searching out God's plan for their life, and I'm not the only one(I know, a little exaggeration, but sometimes it feels like that) Keep seeking God, and I pray He will bless you for it!
God bless,
Ellie

Author Reply: Hantanyel, my dear Ellie! Being one of my favorite people, you are in my daily prayers with the queen, Frodo (the female one, the male one doesn't need any more!), harrowcat, Larner, Armariel and Elemmire.

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)
