These are fabulous! Thanks for including Finrod! I hope to see one from his P.o.V. soon. Have you read HOME: MOrgoth's Ring? (Maybe you could use FInrod or Beren comparing Aegnor/Andreth to Beren and Luthien?) Yeah, I still cannot believe you are going to be writing 100 of these! That is a lot of writing on Beren and Luthien. You must really enjoy the Lay of Luthien! How do you think of all these ideas? It sounds impossible from my view!

Well, Happy writing and Namarie!

Author Reply: I'm glad you liked it. Yes I have read Morgoth's Ring, however by now that was about four years or so ago, so I don't remember the details.

I'm writing off of a Tolkien themed 100 prompts community. If you are interested in finding out more about it, the url is http://fin.yserve.net/arda100/html/home.htm. It's not so much that I enjoy the lay, although I do, as when I was looking at the table of prompts, I could see stories for most of them involving Luthien.

Thanks for reading.

Yes, the jewel was in his hand, but his hand is now elsewhere. It now strikes me just how similar this is to what happened to Frodo--the Ring still on his finger but the finger bitten off just as happened with Beren's hand. At least in the case of the amputation with Frodo it freed him from a worse fate than he'd known so far.

Author Reply: I thought the technicality of the oath being fulfilled that way was an interesting one. I hadn't even thought of the similarity to Frodo though. Thanks for pointing it out.
