| I am glad that Luthien is giving Finrod and his companions their due in helping them achieve the Quest of the Silmaril. Isn't it amazing that where the numerous armies of the Noldor, Sindar and mortal Atani had failed, a Quest that included 14 members only (if I counted correctly) succeeded?????? Burying the body of King Finrod Felagund must have been one of the most tragic parts of the lay. I forgot but did you already write a short story of how Thingol felt at Finrod's death? How Galadriel felt at the news of her eldest brother's death? If not will you write one please then? Please???????????? Namarie... Author Reply: Thanks. Yes that is one of the amazing things. I haven't written the one you asked about. I'll think about those though. Doing a hundred stories concerning Luthien is turning out to be rather a challenge, and is taking far longer than I though. | |
