Ada Knows Best  by Misty 4 Review(s)
eliza61Reviewed Chapter: 4 on 3/28/2006
I bet Estel did not bargain on all this adventure! Really good story Misty, can't wait to see if Estel comes thru or gets capture with the rest of them. Poor Elrond, this must be one of the times when you can't figure out if you want to hug your child or choke them. LOL
Post soon

Author Reply: No, this is not what Estel thought he'd be facing when he took off to follow the others. You're right, I can only imagine the thoughts that cross Elrond's mind when he sees the message Estel wrote. I can imagine it would be quite a mix of emotions. The next chapter is on the way.

Well, of COURSE his mind is devious--look at who have trained him for the past thirteen years! Two devious twins and one of the greatest Elven warriors that ever walked through Arda!

Now to see how his distraction works!

Author Reply: True, with the twins and the other elves as his teachers, he would have to be quite devious. But with one of the twins commenting on it, you know things could get very...interesting. ;-)

I really like resourceful Estel here. He's proving that he's capable of planning and plotting a rescue attempt single handed, and has even managed to warn his brothers.

So why do I think something will go wrong, and that he'll need that antidote?

Author Reply: I liked writing Estel as someone who could use what he has been taught in order to do what must be done, even as he's scared to death to do it.

As for the antidote...well, no healer worth his salt would make up a poison to be used in the manner he's planning without making up the antidote as well, just in case.
