It's amazing how we can come to question our own perceptions, particularly after vivid dreams and serious wounds and illnesses.

So glad Arwen sensed his distress and Legolas was able to help free him.

Author Reply: Yes, poor Aragorn. Even when he's home safe and sound, he's not sure whether or not he can believe it. I'm sure that will fade, though, once he's caught up on his rest and feeling better. Thanks for the reviews.

Oh ho ho-I like your ending! In fact I liked the whole story. Showing all te sorts of relationships Aragorn has, The love of Arwen, A sweet Adar/son relationship. And the ever special fun relationship with his 'brothers'
and Legolas. All wrapped up in a measure of suspense. Very nice! I loved the brother-teasing parts. ;) Namarie & God bless, Arwen

Author Reply: Thank you so much. I do feel that the characters in Aragorn's life are so fun to write. The relationships are all so unique and special that as writers, we have so much material to work with. I'm glad you like the ending, too. ;-) I had a lot of fun writing this story, and it's a good feeling to find out that others like reading it. Thanks again for the reviews.

And there I was wallowing in the joy of healings and reunions and you throw that last bit in! *gr*! Did I see a 'complete' tag to this or didn't I? Will have to go back and check now!

Author Reply: Wow, that was fast! Yes, sorry. The story is complete. Chapter six was the last chapter. But the last little bit insisted on being added to the story, I had nothing to do with it, really! *innocent look* Do you believe me? *grins*

I think that it is just as well that we trust you Misty! *g* How much more is my favourite Ranger going to have to go through - lots I hope as each episode is great! Love the psycic connections.

Author Reply: HMMM... Read chapter six and then let me know if you still trust me. *eg* Well, he doesn't go through much more in this story, as chapter six is the last chapter. I hope you enjoy chapter six as much as you have the rest of the story. And I couldn't help tossing in the psychic bits, though he's not sure if they're real or hallucination.

The layers of times for the memories are so frustrating for him to have to try to deal with.

Lovely details here.

Author Reply: Maybe they are confusing, but they're also his only sources of comfort right now, so I'm sure he's greatful for them.

So the reassuring self takes the voice of Legolas, does it? Interesting.

Author Reply: Who better than his best friend? (In my stories, anyway.)

Aha--sounds as if the cavalry--or in this case the digging squad--is on its way. May they reach him quickly.

Author Reply: Hmm. Do they know, or was that his imagination? With elves, and especially the Peredhel family, you never can tell. But I bet he's hoping they know and are on their way.

Being royally caught like that must be almost more than he can bear; and the memories are heart rending.

Author Reply: Well, let's just say I certainly wouldn't want to be in his shoes right now.

'Water, water everywhere and not a drop to drink!' Ah well, just so long as the cave doesn't start flooding!

Author Reply: Well, I can guarantee the cave doesn't flood. ;-) It is too bad that he can't reach that water he hears. It would really help him out.

How romantic! *deep sigh*

Author Reply: Yeah, I am a bit of a romantic. Glad you liked it.
