Most difficult for all of them! Poor Boromir--to be married off whether he will or no!

I love your scenes between Boromir and Faramir... they are quite touching, especially the last few lines of Part B. I doubt Boromir can let his guard down so with anyone else.

Author Reply: Thanks,Sarasrati!

I find it difficult to write these 3 men because they are very different around their soldiers, around their councilors, around the staff, and around anyone else BUT themselves...

I do think that Boromir and Faramir, when alone, can let their guard down. If they couldn't have - I think they would have both gone mad. It's a bit different at the moment for F&B since Faramir is drugged due to the injury. But still, enough for Boromir to relax... to be free... to be himself for a moment or two. I don't think Faramir ever kept anything back from Boromir - but that' just MHO.

The same is true for Denethor - to a degree only though. He is ever the Steward, and though I think he would love to 'be himself' at times, he finds it extremely difficult.

Each one of them is between a rock and a hard place...
