Ten Thousand Years Will Not Suffice  by Agape4Gondor 2 Review(s)

Reason to be concerned about the makeup of the Council, certainly. And this time Amdir proved homself well!

Author Reply: Trying to find good men to council, men with courage, can be a challenge. I believe Denethor was frustrated his entire life by this problem.

And Amdir - bless his heart - did prove himself well. So Thengel's giving him a second chance, along with Denethor's friendship, did the trick.

Bless you!

Denethor is growing up oddly. He's very smart, probably too smart for his maturity level. People either dismiss him as a precocious kid or trust a seventeen-year-old lieutenant as a full, experienced warrior. Neither way is especially healthy for him, so thank goodness for Indis.

He's learning the hard way about battle, but it looks like Amdir has found some courage. Good for Amdir, though his shirt is looking redder all the time.
