Forging of the Ringbearer: Part 1: A New Life  by Frodo Baggins 2 Review(s)
LarnerReviewed Chapter: 6 on 8/31/2006
Ah, so he gave up riding, did he? Interesting! And perhaps Sam and Merry together can get him back into it. I hope so.

Author Reply: Riding was too painful for him after his father died. But now that he has come - or is comeing -to terms with that grief, he can take up something that truly was enjoyable to him. I think it will be *Frodo* that helps *Sam* learn. :) Namarie!

Oh, this is wonderful! New friends, and soon, a pony!! Poor Frodo, though, I know how the ball thing feels. *sigh* The only ball I was ever good at was "beep ball" (basically baseball adapted for the blind), and oh! I loved it! But I don't think I'll take it up again, even so. I just love the life you put into this. Fabulous, my dear! Can't wait for more!
God bless,
Galadriel

Author Reply: I'm so glad you're back "in the Loop", to use the expression. Yes, soon a pony. Still debating a name though... Trust me, the ball thing came from first hand experience many, many times. It was *so* humiliating. I didn't want to be the sissy, so I played anyway, even though I knew good and well I couldn't do it good. I was never passed the ball. It's hard though, when you're trying to fit in, but the only thing everyone does is something you're not good at. Beep ball sounds fun!! LOL! I'm glad you liked it! Namarie!
God Bless,
Frodo Baggins
