The rehoused Finrod rejoicing at his sister's redemption and return, and healing continuing for our favorite Hobbit.

How much trouble can two small hobbits be? Hurricanes worth, Finrod, and that's without Sam being there (yet) to help! For the love of the Valar, DON'T let them in the kitchen!

Hi Inglor!

I enjoyed reading this. Frodo and Bilbo seem so much in-character as we know them -- especially Frodo's touching concern for his uncle -- and I was very pleased with how you characterized Finrod. He did a great job of supporting Frodo in just the way he needed... very nice work!

Nice tale! Glad to see you posting here, finally. I love the way you write Finrod.

Author Reply: Glad you are glad and glad to be here and glad you like the way I write Finrod.

Hello Inglor!
What a beautiful story! Thanks to a dear friend, Finrod has become an elf whom I admire greatly. He is one with whom I would gladly sit and talk for hours and hours were it permitted. Your portrayal of him is exactly like that which I picture in my own mind. He is gentle, warm, understanding, encouraging, and always has just the right word of wisdom when it is needed. From your story I can imagine that Frodo and Finrod became very good friends indeed, and that Sam too would have loved "Mr. Finrod" when he finally came to Tol Eressea.

Please, tell us more about Finrod, Galadriel, and anyone else who might send you a tale. I can find absolutely nothing to criticize here!

Author Reply: Thanks, Finrod does seem to be a rather approachable. After becoming interested in him in the Sil, Finch's fanfic got me hooked, and I have been reading and writing him ever since.

Hmmm... nice bunny.

This is just beautiful! I really like the way Frodo is beginning to come to a true understanding of his role, and will finally be able to lay aside his guilt. And I like seeing Galadriel's temptation through the eyes of one of her kin--very apt.

And the conversation with Bilbo at the end was just adorable, and so hobbity!

I wouldn't mind seeing Frodo encountering more First Age celebrities in his new home.

"After all, how much trouble could two small hobbits be?"

HA! Little does he know... ;)
A nice moment between two thoughtful and sensitive characters.

Author Reply: He's looking forward to it...

Oh, nice! I'd never considered that Frodo might have met Finrod when he got to Valinor! What a new and fresh thought. I'm delighted. So good that Finrod is able to give Frodo some peace. He would know all about it, wouldn't he? What a wonderful, fresh story. Bravo!

Author Reply: Thank you, this was written for a "What if they talked" challenge on another site. I normally only write Pre-LotR fics so I tried to work Frodo into one for a change.

This is incredibly beautiful and perfect. You were using terms from Morgoth's Ring and The Peoples of Middle-Earth there, too, right?

Author Reply: Kind words.
and Yep.

“Think about all the heroes Frodo, they all could not have succeeded without help..."

That's a lovely insight. Frodo now has even more help, and much to think about -- all of it healing.

:D
