| I enjoyed this story so much. A conversation that rings very true to me for both the characters. Elanor's references to the others we know and love (Gimli and Legolas, her mother and father) just add to the charm. I also could not read the two most recent stories that you posted. | |

| So sweet. Elanor and Faramir make a lovely pair - and she is very honoured if he is happy to let her share his library! It must be very intimidating to be the only hobbit to be among the queen's ladies. Even without trying, the other girls will be able to make her feel an outsider. But she has her friendship with Faramir and his store of books! | |

| Hello, Songspinner. I first disccovered your piece, "New Music", and was instantly charmed. This one is equally sweet. You have written the characters just as I would imagine them from the books. Elanor's dream is especially wistful. I imagine that, being an innocent new life during the time when Frodo badly needed comfort before he left would have allowed a bond to form between he and Elanor. | Ah, people of such like-minds. I can't wait for the Summer when I can take a good book out into the park, (I don't have a garden,) but how do I get a lead long enough to take my lap-top? Author Reply: I'm not sure, but I know the feeling. I need to clear off the back porch to have a place to curl up in the sun with a book. :) | |
