Fair, Strong and Cold  by adrinkcalled 4 Review(s)

I'm reading your story, and I'm really intrigued right now.
From my POV, you described quite well the personality of this couple...
At first, I couldn't imagine Eowyn like you described her (it's very different from the character from Tolkien). But, you're a good writer and you make me believe that... And that's the important thing, isn't it? You have this power as an autor.
I have to confess that I'm very pleased with the character Faramir (I love him!). The dance was a nice way to get this two closer. We have to wait and see what you're planning for this two...
I have so many things to say, but I'm short of vocabulary. English it's not my mother language (I'm from Argentina), so it's more difficult to express my thoughts (put the right verbs, for example). I hope you can understand me correctly!
Well, I'm waiting for more, so post more soon, please!
Greetings!

I thought your interpretation of Faramir's thoughts about his father excellent.A very good chapter.

A very sensible conversation - Eowyn must have found it very liberating. Care, but not smothering. An entitlement to be herself.

And, even better, a show of frailty from Faramir that enables her to feel she has something to offer him. I don't think it'll be long now before they stop stepping carefully round each other!

Oh, I'm loving this, though I hope it's not the end just yet. They are almost there, almost free of the fears and misunderstandings. I do hope you chose to give it at least one more chapter!

I have to say that I love your development of both of them; Eowyn's decision not to take up the sword in Ithilien was beautifully done. Faramir has long been one of my very most favorite characters in all of LOTR, and you have brought him to life for me, his thoughts and feelings and difficulties. He is so noble and generous, so worthy of love, and she is so capable of giving him the love he needs once she gets past her hesitations. I'm not speaking so much of the physical act as of the entrusting to him of her whole heart, of showering him with the passionate and unbounded acceptance of which she is capable and of which he has such need.

Now, promise me one more at least - PLEASE! I'm not above getting on my knees and begging....
