When Warriors Woo  by Nancy Brooke 5 Review(s)

A dangerous mission indeed!

Eowyn was better off with Faramir, though. He softened her edges - I reckon she and Boromir would have battled their way through life with less understanding of each other.

Interesting encounter.

Nicely written- the tact was wonderful. It seemed Boromir was a bit too confrontational, but I suppose that is his nature anyway. ; ) Anyway GREAT job!

wow! now THERE'S a pairing I never would have considered! I just LOVED it Nancy! That was wonderful! She of firey tongue and he of wicked wit... What a pair! I really enjoyed this. Very cleverly done. Good Job.

Fluff? Nancy? I see no fluff! *g's and sneezes mightily as she sweeps her fluff-buster around.* A lovely piece about these two.

Love this. Love your writing style; the playful, skillful banter; the way Eowyn tries to hide her attraction, not only from Boromir, but from herself, as well; how complex you've made both characters, but especially Boromir. He's adorable when he's written as the single-minded passionate warrior/lover, but surely a Steward's son, no matter his personality, would be execptionally trained in the art of smooth interrogation tactics - displayed well here.

Also, with so may AUs running about, there are entirely too few Boromir/Eowyn pairings, I dearly wish someone with great talent would tackle a well-written series. I'm not in the camp that believes they're too alike to have gotten on together, yet think it would enhance the sparks. I realize yours isn't an AU (though it could be if you chose to expand on it ;)

Thanks for sharing.
