Oh so insightful! I am sure not a day passed in which one or both of the hobbits did not remember with love and gratitude and a pang of sorrow, the sacrifice made on their behalf. But on an occasion like this, it would be inevitable.

And yes, he would have been very proud indeed of his small friends.

Hooray! The Thain indeed! And a wonderful moment to remember Boromir, who never knew the moment when he became THE STEWARD. But he did have the satisfaction, I'll believe, of sharing this moment with Pippin.

I like this very much. Pippin lived to be Steward of his people, but Boromir did not. Very poignant.
