A Bad Day Gone Good  by MysteriousWays 2 Review(s)
LarnerReviewed Chapter: 1 on 12/9/2005
A nice new friend among Dwarves have we met, and a generous one at that. Wonder what their "master" told them? What kind of knowledge has Aule given his folk about the importance of Hobbits, I wonder? Eh?

Author Reply: I have been remiss. I forgot to give Pearl Took credit for naming our new dwarf friend. As for what Aule may have told his people, well some hints on what they may have been are coming in "Far and Away" where I offer up my own idea of where Hobbits come from. I suppose I need to work on that story and get more of it posted. Thank you for reading. Pearl Took tells me lovely things of your work. I would like to get around to reading some.

"At one point they found a pinecone and started to kick that along ahead of him.

The pinecone didn’t appear to mind and he seemed to be doing well with this task. He kicked the pinecone ahead of him then counted how many steps it took him to reach the pinecone."

I Love "The pinecone didn't appear to mind . . ." LOL

This is a wonderful story. Even bad days can turn out good. And I love the gems being the Dwarves flowers.

Very Well Done :) :) :)

Author Reply: Nice thing about pinecones is that they are quite easy going. Which is good as I don't think that with bare feet Nibs would have found kicking a rock to be quite so gratifying.

Some bad days even go on for many days but still can end up good, don't they. Or so a friend keeps trying to tell me.;)

Thank you for all of your love and understanding. Maybe that is day light and not a train I see.

Kelly
