Your Heart Will Be True  by Write Sisters 2 Review(s)

Ai! How did it get to be Friday night?! This week went by rather fast! Great chapter! There hasn't been a cliffie in a while, I can't make up my mind which of my heroes to worry about the most! I was cracking up (as usual) when Legolas was talking to Anto and the men about his ears! And the thought of Legolas breaking into one of Strider's tavern songs is hilarious, I almost wish he had done it! But I guess that would have blown their cover. Although, who knows? The sight of a graceful elf prince singing a rough tavern song might've caused the Haradrim to turn tail and run!

I loved Faramir reminiscing about Boromir as he was crawling through the brush. And Bartho thinking about Arien.

And would someone please put Erynbenn and Beregond both in straight jackets or something before they hurt themselves WORSE! (and probably Duurben too!) Obviously drugging them isn't working well enough, we'll have to think of something else! (Beria runs off to find a heavy cast- iron skillet to beat said characters over their stubborn heads with!) *forgive me, it is late at night!*

Looking forward to more! Thank you!

Author Reply: *finds herself mimicking Beriathwen's desperate tones* How did it get to be Monday morning...?! *grins* So yeah, fast weeks happen to the best of us. Sorry about leaving you so long on this cliffie!

Legolas singing tavern songs was a scene we were loath to leave out, but we just couldn't have kept a straight face if we had tried it. I'm glad you liked the scene of Legolas showing the troops his ears! Once we had decided to put Legolas in charge, I realized suddenly that this would a sort of culture shock for the men -- many of whom had probably never spoken to an elf before, much less followed one into battle.

*laughs* Yes, straight jackets would be good. Or manacles. Or that skillet! Just don't hit them too hard, 'kay? *grins*

Thank you so much for the review -- it really was wonderful to hear what you thought! And I hope to have the next chapter up shortly.

And you're going to leave us here???

Taut, suspenseful chapter. If our heroes all survive this, Eowyn needs to lock Faramir in a bedchamber so that he'll rest, and someone has to do the same to Beregond.

Author Reply: Uh..... *looks nervous* Yes, I guess we ARE going to leave you there, and for much longer than we had initially intended.... sorry!!

'Taut' and 'suspenseful' are brilliant compliments -- thanks! And we'll give Eowyn the necessary locks and chains when we're done. *grins*
