White Wolf!
Oh my, by sweet Elbereth! This little fic is very sweet! I truly loved it when Legolas said "That's what friends are for" then Pippin, "Of couse. That's what friends are for." Continue with this, like this! I truly did enjoy it!

Author Reply: Forgive the terribly late replly. SoA didn't notify me I had another review for this story. Thank you very much. I liked those lines, too. They tied not only the two characters together but the story, as well. There are no plans for a sequal or an extention to this story at present. Glad you liked it.

This is so sweet...The friendship between Legolas and pippin, and Legolas saved him from a deadly spider, he is a good friend. Pippin and Legolas was lucky to have each other...

Author Reply: Sorry this reply is so late. SoA didn't notify me that I had gotten your review. Thatn you. I totally agree. I've neverr seen a Legolas/Pippin story before, so this one remedies that. Glad you liked it.

Thank you. I think Pippin would have been awed by elves in general, but his curiosity about them would have allowed him to get to know Legolas, especially since they were traveling together. This story was a gap filler and not AU, so Legolas couldn't die, thank goodness.

Very nice little story. I like strong themes of friendship and sacrifice, and I also enjoy tales of Legolas interacting with the Hobbits when done seriously and not made too cutesy.

Author Reply: Thank you. I'm a friendship story person myself. I do mostly ones about Legolas and Aragorn, however, I never see any Legolas/Pippin stories, so I thought I'd do one that was serious but with some humor in it. I don't care for cutesy, either.

What a wonderful story. You've truly captured the spirit of the "Fellowship", especially between its youngest and oldest members.

Author Reply: Thank you. I tried hard to do them justice. As for Legolas being the oldest, I think Gandalf may have a few years on him. I personally don't think Legolas is as old as most people believe he is, but your point is well taken.

That was a very sweet bit of elf and hobbit bonding. Well done! :-)

Author Reply: Thank you, Karri. I thought a Legolas/Pippin story was in order. I never see any.

BTW, girl, when are you going to update "Bitterness"?

Very nice!! I loved this story. I don't find too many stories that I like which show interaction between Legolas and the hobbits... But this was one of them. :)

Author Reply: Thank you! I'm happy you love it. I don't find very many stories with Legolas and the hobbits at all. I enjoyed writing this one.

What a lovely story. I've always thought that Legolas would have been friendly with the hobbits, and I love seeing him being so close with Pippin -- I think they have quite a bit in common. I love that you play to everyone's strengths. Legolas is fast and skilled enough to put himself between Pippin and the spider, Aragorn is a cool-headed leader who does what he can with a field kit, and Pippin shows the depth of friendship that prompted Gandalf to make Elrond send him along on the quest. Very nice all around.

Author Reply: Thank you very much. I like the thought of Legolas being friendly with the hobbits, too, rather than being stand-offish, as he is often portrayed. I try hard to make my characters true to who they are, and I'm glad you think I succeeded. Most of my stories concentrate on the friendship between Legolas and Aragorn, so I really enjoyed writing this one. Thanks again for your kind words.
