| Yes, the Thain's heir is indeed growing up, and becoming more concerned about the others as he can. And that he's wanting to see to it the others get to share the Lembas is wonderful. Now it's not Frodo at the center of the pile, but Pippin, and all others seeking to reassure him and give him comfort; and the idea of Gimli taking the four of them home to keep him company and do for him in Erebor is priceless. As for the specialness of Frodo and Legolas seeing his Light--you know how much that has always meant to me. | |

| Oh that sweet adorable little hobbit. Wanting to make sure he wasn't the only one getting Lembas. I just want to hug Pippin for that. And while I know it can't compare w/being hit over the head, I do get some doozy migraines and Pip's head really had to hurt. I've also had my share of medicine over the years and I can imagine what willow bark tea must taste like. Poor Pip. I love Aragorn here, but I do love Healer Aragorn the most out of all of Aragorn's idenities. I've always had the impression if he was given the choice, all he'd want would be to stay in Rivendell w/Arwen and simply be a healer. Destiny doesn't always work that way though. Looking forward to the next part. :o) | |

| Such a sweet chapter. I loved the part where Merry and Aragorn were talking. I hope Merry got the chance, at some future point, to show Aragorn just how much hobbits viewed as acceptable for a meal. Pippin sharing his lembas with Frodo was precious.
