This is very sweet~ i really love how you paint Drogo and Primula's loving relationship and i love the idea of the b-day gift fro Frodo.
And certainly Frodo is as beautiful as a hobbit lass. ;) (but in a guy beautiful way ;) =)

“Come on,” Drogo coaxed her softly. “Let us see how many rolls of parchment our son has ruined.” And Primula began to laugh, tears of understanding and joy rolling down her cheeks.

LOL! Now, what Primula expected would have been the reaction of a girl!
I can imagine Frodo writing or painting something very nice for his beloved mother. Let's hope there will be any parchment left ;-)

Aw, this is adorable! Such a difference sometimes between our imaginings, and the reactions we get from people in real life--what a sweet story!

Author Reply: Surprises are nice sometimes though. :)

Thank you very much for coming by, Dreamflower!

It can sometimes be hard to be understanding when you don't get the reaction that you expect or hope for. A loving heart helps. I do love some of your choices of words *sniffled!* And just who is going to clean the ink off the ceiling bfore Frodo gets back?

Author Reply: I think it will be Drogo and Primula. *giggles*

Thank you very much for liking the words, Harrowcat!

Sometimes the joy doesn't get expressed exactly as we expected....

Author Reply: Exactly. ^^ I hope Primula isn't too disappointed, though.

Thanks for reading and leaving me notes, Larner.

I do want to read your great stories again! Promise.
