The Green Knight and the Heir of Meduseld  by Le Rouret 3 Review(s)
DreamflowerReviewed Chapter: 2 on 10/4/2005
Goodness, Fastred is such a serious, earnest, dear little boy. I love the way he has planned out every contingency--except for little beggar girls, and getting lost, and unexpected rainstorms.

I have a feeling though, that his reception by Legolas is not going to be quite what he expected, somehow.

And Eowyn and Faramir must be frantic by now.

An enchanted sleep such as thirteen dwarves and one hobbit once knew. And who knows what elves might guard such a place? He ought to have listened to his horse!

I am loving this story already! The idea of Fastred running away to have a wild adventure with Legolas is very appealing--but I think the lad is in for a shock.I can't wait to find out what has put Fastred to sleep and who are the mysterious beings in the clearing? A great start.

Lamiel described your writing as using courtly language and I agree. When I first read 'The Green Knight' I thought of Patrick O'Brien's 'Captain Aubrey' novels.Your words really flow and your stories really are some of the best in the fan fiction world. Can't wait for more!

Ali.
