| How I like this vignette! It is almost as if i could see them. MAedhros is truly collected, recovered, almost cynical, and Fingon is his own self as I have com to picture him: blunt, loyal, caring, strong and valiant, no less in confronting the results of his deed than in doing it. It is sweet, despite the seting1 Good to read it here, too! :-) Author Reply: I'm glad you see the characters so. I wanted to make Maedhros the more "intellectual", a bit jaded and weary, and Fingon perhaps a little less mature and the more restless or impulsive of the two -- but it's Fingon struggling to keep the memories alive, and Maedhros who seems to want to forget. Thanks for the review, even more so because it's your second on this piece! :) | |
