| I love this...You have to feel Elrohir's pain and he sut Elladan out, and he was miserable as well...He wanted to give Elladan a chance to live but in doing so was making his twin miserable because he felt the pain. It was Glorifindel that finnally pulled him around to talk, I loved the knife scene very vivid...A girl named after the one he lost nice.. I hope you continue this or work on another twin fic...you do them well...Keep it up... Author Reply: I am glad you like this story. I am quite proud of it and was eager to see what others thought of it. Personally, I think that the hardest part about it was getting the mixed emotions written. I am glad that I managed to get that across. I love Glorfindel. He is one of my favorite characters because I picture him as someone able to help the Peredhil family when things get rough without interferring too much. As for the knife scene, I have always had a mental picture in my mind of Glorfindel teaching Elrohir how to fight with twin-knives. I imagined him using Elrohir's knowledge of being as twin and applying it to the twin knives. And as for Arwen being named after Elrohir's love...that was a nice touch that I thought would end the story nicely. I like how it turned out. The twins are my favorite characters to write about and I am glad that you enjoy my fics about them. It means a lot to me.-LilPip | |
