I just found this and I loved it. Legolas is absolutely adorable in it, first jumping down on his father and then making that crown. And I love the idea of the changing of the crowns being a ceremony that is part of the fall festival. And this was a very pretty description: Whenever the mighty trees of the great Greenwood forest turned their gowns of green leaves into a sparkling yellow and red, the elvenking exchanged his summer crown for one who would fit the oncoming season better. I really liked this. I am going off to see what else you have written. Great story. :-)

I liked you story. I like reading about young Legolas and Thrandruil and showing a loving relationship. And I like the crown. Very tender and moving. You write very well for english not being your native language. I saw only a few words and punctuation booboos. Thank you for your gift. Robin Author Reply: Thank you for your feedback. That's so awesome:) I've never really learnt any comma rules in school, so I tend to use too many of them*g* I have to look into that again. Thanks again.

This was sweet. I liked the ritual of the changing crowns, the acknowledgement of the equinox, and the singing to welcome the successful hunters home. I also thought that the part where Thranduil's well-meant gift to his wife caused her unhappiness and departure was wonderfully ironic. And, of course the crown that Legolas made is the best crown. That just stands to reason. May I ask, what is your first language? I'm just curious. Author Reply: Thank you so much for your feedback! I really appreciate it and I'm glad so many people liked it. My first lanuage is German, by the way. That's probably the reason why I tend to use so many commas*lol*

I really enjoyed this story, not only because of the lovely relationship between Thranduil and Legolas, but also the underlying theme of clinging to goodness in the face of adversity. It is very positive and uplifting. Thank you for sharing. ~TF Author Reply: Thank your for taking the time to write some feedback. That means a lot to me:)

I reviewed this at ff.net but I'll do it again here because I thought this was such a sweet story. The changing of the crowns ceremony is a great idea. Author Reply: Thank you so much for reviewing. I got your other review, too:) I'm glad you liked it.
