Welcome back! Hope you feel better! First of all I love your descriptions of Strider's subtle movements, "..stopped chewing and looked up","..swallowed the bit of dried meat and gave a slight nod","..curled to a grin". All his movements are so much like Strider's character in Peter Jackson's films (which i feel was portrayed beautifully by Viggo). I just love it! I admire Daevan's adamant stand on staying with Strider "Let me tell you then that I am mature and you insult me by thinking otherwise". Brilliant! This place where they are at is creeping me out. The mood is getting real dark! I'm getting jumpy just reading about it. I've a feeling I better fasten my seatbelt, it's going to be a bumpy ride!

Author Reply: Thanks and, yes, I feel much better now. I appreciate your detailed comments on lines I wrote. Always cherish it! Of course, Viggo's portrait of Aragorn was on my mind. Loved the little moments (especially when Eowyn tried to talk him eating eating her, hum, soup LOL) and tried to put them in here.
Yes, I totally agree: fasten your seatbelt and make it tight!!

O, could there not have bee a better way, going through Moria seems to be a bit risky, with all thoses orcs arround. Glad that Daevan is sticking with Strider. Loved it when he asked if the dwarves would at keast be friendly.

Author Reply: Risky... Hum, add: very dangerous, deadly, lethal. And the persons going there foolhardy, stupid, suicidal... LOL
Aren't Dwarves always friendly company???

It certainly is a valid question--how to find Gollum in all of that? And the descriptions are very vivid and believable.

Thanks so much for all you have written so far.

Author Reply: Thanks for the praise! The pictures I describe are inspired by the movies, no doubt. And there is by far more to come! Stay tuned.

The suspense is mounting! May you post again soon!
I liked the conversation about Strider being an Elf. That must have happened to him a number of times.

Author Reply: Thanks! Trying to entertain you the best I can! Yes, I think, too, that Aragorn had had to answer many questions about his life more than once. Admitting that he is quite a taciturn character, it must have tapped on his nerves frequently...
