Untrodden Path  by Timmy2222 5 Review(s)

As always, a great chapter. You weave your tale so slowly and intricately that the reader just can't help being anxious for more. Ah, the Eagle of the Star, eh? Understandably Doran wouldn't expect the stranger to be Thorongil. After all, he still appears to be a young man. But his suspicions aren't entirely laid to rest. Poor Nilana. Constantly being flustered in Aragorn's presence. That rings so true, the idea of not wanting to be embarrassed in front of someone you like or hope to please. But it is a good thing she had Bradolla there. The old healer means well and is insightful enough to realize she was rather harsh with Nilana. I also liked Daevan's observation that 'old people needed to be a bit strange to not get lost among all the young folk.' And of course, my favorite bits are the 'helpless Aragorn' moments. Bradolla's last words were, um, intriguing. Yes, that's it, intriguing. Okay, Timmy, I'm dying for the next chapter. Please. Pretty please?

Author Reply: Hi Viggomaniac, glad to have you out there somewhere! I really enjoy your reviews every time. There are more chapters to come, but, please, be patient. As much as you like to read on, I like to read reviews . But honestly, updates will be constant. Well, the 'helpless Aragorn' moments... welcome to the club. Shall I tease you and tell you that there will be more??

Sorry, last time I wasn't here, and somehow looked over the update, but I'm still here and like it! :o)

Everyone seems to suffer here in some way... :o( That should be better if Aragorn regained his voice. Or at least, that's my opinion.

I can't wait to read more, and sorry that I can't add anything intelligent, but I'm not in the right mood. :o( Maybe, next time! But keep writing (and updating!)

Author Reply: Hi Laerien,
well, yes, everybody suffers her/his own way in this piece. At least now. The story is completely written and sitting on my computer, just waiting to jump on the next update...

Again..the jewel!!! Doran recognizes the face and knew someone that wore such a jewel!!! OK THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME!! Will he find out??? I don't know if I've said this I'm really starting to like Nilana. Maybe because she is so compassionate towards Aragorn. But anyway.. update soon please.

Author Reply: Hope to not kill you with this story! I would truly like to read your comments further on this story . Since the story is done on my PC, updates will be frequent. Just hold on.

Poor Nilana, she needs to sit down and have a nice cup of tea. Nilana is doing her best to help Aragorn. At least he has a salve for his back. I do believe that Bradolla might be related to that old healer woman in Gondor.

The healer with no voice unable to speak with the healer! Lovely!

Author Reply: Thanks for that. What a nice and very precise summary!
