Dragonfire  by White Wolf 7 Review(s)

Ah--the mystery of the statues is at last explained. And she's now gone, at last. Almost said "bless her" but thought better of it.

Author Reply: I wondered if anyone would remember them. They weren't just decorations, although that's what Allaura had them for. Gone and hopefully soon forgotten. Glad you didn't bless her. :o)

Its school holidays here in Australia and I'm thoroughly bored! So I decided to re-read a few of my favourites- and review again for some.

In my spare time (which seems to be never ending!) I like to write stories, more-often-than-not they are about 'Lord of the Rings' and usually revolve around the Elves. My problem is that I can rarely get a story past the drafting stage and its beginning to get really annoting! Another thing is I'm the sort of person that likes to know what happens after the story. Its a real downside when I'm writing.

Though my main reason here is suposed to be praise- I come in a plea for help! Advice at least, please.

(I think this is the longest review I have ever writen.)

Anyway thank you for listening to me ramble. Help me if you can but if you don't I won't hold it against you or stop reading. Dragonfire is a fantastic story and I love every word. Keep up your already amazing work.

Author Reply: It's not often that you find someone who says that they have too much time on their hands. Usually, they say they don't have enough to do everything they need to do. However, writing is an excellent way to fill the time, enjoy yourself doing it and hopefully entertain others. I'd go crazy without my writing. I also read a lot of the stories others write that interest me.

First off thank you so much for your wonderful praise. It is most appreciated.

I'll be glad to help you in any way I can. I don't, however, think this is the place to do it. If you will leave me your e-mail addy, I'll be happy to correspond with you in private, offering advice where I can and answering your questions.

This is great White Wolf - you do continue to manage the twists and turns!

Author Reply: I haven't heard from you in a while. Welcome back.

Thank you. I try to keep my readers guessing. I think it makes for a better story. Glad ii's still working. :o)

You crazy evil author; =p Just had to end the story with "I have no idea". I mean, how is that going to help us? You enjoy killing us readers, don't you. Well, thankfully, I can be distracted until the next time you update; see--June 8 (today) was our spring concert, June 9 is another spring concert, June 10 yet another, June 12, Raging Waters, June 15 Dinner Dance, and June 16, graduation. By then you probably would have updated =) (or I hope) =(.

Stupid Allaura did she actually think that screaming "Give it back!" will actually cause any effect? We all know that won't work in most situations (especially for me) but we say it anyway. It's just a natural instinct. =) And really, saying "Grab the ranger, elf, and I will share the necklace with you. We can live here together forever and each get what we want." is also stupid because everyone knows that Allaura will used the stone again to force Legolas to do anything she wants, as in the case of Ricard. But Legolas would be tempted to listen, anything that will get him his prize.

Treco swallowed the stone? Amazing. I hope nothing happens to him. I really liked the part where he statue-ized (haha I made that word up but you get the gist of it *wink wink*) Allaura. She really deserved it. Well, the scary thing is that if a being looks at the stone for too long it already makes them obsessed. What happens if they swallow it? Will it have its effects with the dragon's organs and internal systems? O_o Scary. I really want to know.....hope it comes out...(I mean...come out of his rear end...) and no Elrond to help Legolas or him...this story will indeed have an interesting outcome...love it.

Well, I will not leave off this review without revenge, since your way of torturing us is a cliffy. So I will deprive you of your FULL share of Hershey's. Maybe that'll teach you to not kill us this badly. If you end the next chapter with a cliffy (well at least a major one; I won't be that mean and not let you use ANY cliffies at all) then I will completely take away the tribute and eat it all myself. =)

I really don't like the part when Legolas and Aragorn called each other liars. That hurt me as much as it hurt Aragorn, though I don't think Legolas registered one word of anything Aragorn said to him, and that's probably what hurt me most. Being an elf (despite my name; there's a reason for that), my feelings go deep. Hurry hurry hurry!!!!! Update!!!!!

(haahaa only HALF of your Hershey's today)

Author Reply: No, I do not like killing my readers. Then where would I be? Sounds like you have been and will be busy.

Allaura was so angry and upset, she didn't think, so screaming that at a dragon didn't really register with her. She believed what she said, she figured she would keep Legolas under control with the necklace and use him when she needed him. She hoped the elf would want the necklace so bad, he'd turn against Aragon and actually grab him. At least, she hoped so.

Treco was as surprised as anyone when he swallowed the necklace. We'll see what, if anything, it does to him in the next chapter. I like the word statue-ized. She definitely deserved what she got. Aragorn will certainly have his hands full with Legolas, that's for sure.

The part about calling each other liars was hard to write. Their friendship is so strong that you never think anything like that could happen. We'll see if there's any lasting damage done.

I can't believe you are depriving me of my full load of chocolate just because my plot bunny left a ciffie. However, I will take what I can get! :o)

Thank you. I will update soon.

well, at least the necklace is gone now. I'm pretty sure Legolas will recover from this whole shabang, hopefully sooner than it takes for the necklace to make its way out of the Trecos other... end.

Author Reply: The necklace is indeed gone, as far as Legolas, Aragorn and Ricard are concerned. I love the delicate way of saying...what you said. :o)

All Right!! Allaura got it in the end. How fitting an ending for her. Treco swallowed the stone!? Never saw that coming. At least Ricard can now get on with his life. Major withdrawal time for poor Legolas. Aragorn will hurt for him in the end. No Elrond to help with this either. Aragorn is on his own. Guilt all around by the time this is done. Legolas for what he will say and put Aragorn through. Aragorn for not being able to help Legolas more. Excellent chapter. I can hardly wait for the next one. I will be waiting impatiently for you to update. So update as soon as you can possibly can.

Author Reply: I'm glad you like the method of Allaura's demise. I think Treco was as surprised about swallowing the necklace as you were. Ricard is very happy to be free, and I'm happy for him. :o) Legolas has a hard road ahead of him, that's for sure. And you are right, things won't be easy for Aragorn either.

Thank you. I will update soon, so hang in there.
