Not Pippin's best day was it? Looks like he is about to be on his own again.

They handled Posey well . . . not with quite the panashe of the Terrible Took Sisters . . . but well for a couple of lads ;)

Oh dear, poor Pippin. I had the feeling she wasn't really over her beau. *sigh* Whatever will you have happen next?

So Very, Very Well Done!!!!!!!

Author Reply: Oh, the Terrible Took Sisters!! LOVED them!! (Peregrin & Diamond, by Pearl Took) LOL...one of them is going to get "Terrible" in the foreseeable future, though. ;-) Yeah, Merry wasn't having any nonsense at his wife's party, nor would he suffer it if aimed at his dearest friend and cousin.

Yes...poor, poor Pip. Both are on the rebound, which is one of the reaons why this relationship was never meant to be, no matter how stubborn our Pippin is.

Thank you, mentor!! Thank you for reading Courtship! :-)

Poor lass, caught between two loves, and having to decide, and after Pippin has to fend off an accusation of paternity suit. Alas, for her--but he will meet his Diamond soon. Love the game of War.

Author Reply: Yepper, the Posey-lass is desperate. Yes, Diamond isn't far off at all. :-)

The game of War...lol, I don't believe I ever had the lads playing cards yet, but decided to give it a whirl here. LOL...and I forgot the aces! I had to go back and add it in--and fix one other wee part. I haven't played cards in ages. Thanks for the feedback, and thank you for reading Courtship!

That Posey is something else. I can think of several words for her, but none of them are printable in a public forum.

Pippin really needs to slow down. He gives his heart entirely too quickly. If he's not careful, he's going to get it broken. I hope that doesn't happen.

Great chapter.

Thanks.

Connie B.

Author Reply: LOL! Connie! Hey, she's getting what she deserves; a life-long committment to raising kids--oops, that goats, isn't it? Hehehe. Well, she'll be sloshing around the muck pen, washing nappies, smelling all sorts of new and "wonderous" fragrances!

But I think giving his heart away easily is the charming way of Pippin (my Pippin, anyway), his love being deep and abiding. Unfortunately, a broken heart is par for the course for people and hobbits like him. Thank you so much for reading, Connie!

Oh, dear! Poor Posey, forced to marry "beneath" her!*snicker* (Actually the one I feel sorry for is the potential husband, poor lad.)

And Posey's mother had better hope that Esmeralda and Eglantine don't get wind of what she put her daughter up to, or her name will be mud from one end of the Shire to the other! Telling her not to come home without Pippin on her arm! What nerve!

Well, I knew that Sapphira was still carrying the torch for Hildibrand. He was a childhood sweetheart after all. How sad for Pippin; but he gives his heart away so easily, and that's part of his charm as well...

Author Reply: LOL...yeah, Posey and her mother are getting their just reward! Hmmm...plots abound. I'll have to see what the muse says about Esmeralda and Tina...perhaps that wee little monster might make an attempt to rear it's ugly head one last time. Not that I never considered what they might think, but we'll have to wait and see. ;-) LOL...can't wait to read your romance--I'm dying to see if there are little complications similar to this--but don't say yea or nay because I'm getting nearer to my goal.

Yes, the truth is out...lol, in more ways than one. The poor lad does give his heart away at the drop of a hat, and I love him for it--figuratively speaking. Thank you so much for reading!
