very good. I enjoyed it. I can understand Aragorn's frustration and I think you played the story out very well.

Author Reply: Thank you. As you saw at the end, Aragorn is going to keep on trying until he finally defeats those elves.

Poor Aragorn. It's surprising he didn't grow up with a massive complex about his own uselessness and the general uselessness of Men, growing up as he did among Elves. With E2L all dying to score off him and make him realise how inferior he is. That Legolas is just being sneaky.

I hope he gets his own back. Make it so, White Wolf.

Author Reply: I agree. Aragorn is lucky he doesn't have a massive inferiority complex. It is a tribute to his own inner feeling of self-worth that he doesn't. As for the elves, they could have let a young Estel win occasionally, but they want him to earn his victories, which I think is the right way to go, even in adulthood. At least he hasn't given up. Legolas is sneaky, isn't her?

I just might write a story down the road that has the poor human win some kind of contest against these elves. We’ll see.
