Ahhhhhhhhhh, yer killin' me! Man, I had to run to the bathroom before I wet my pants! Geez, this is so funny. I'm still wiping the tears from my eyes.

*Ponders*

Ah, me. Where shall I begin in singing in the praises of what is quite probably my single most favorite chapter in all of LOTR fanfiction, Chapter: Part the Third: The Plan Goes South? Let's start with ... um ...

... Elrond's descriptions of two of the banquet attendees: Legolas, the brightest summer day had come to rest with all its loveliness upon his person, and Glorfindel, a law unto himself. Never have I read two more succinct and devastatingly accurate descriptions.

... Or how about we start with the descriptions of the Twins' and Legolas' outfits? So lovingly detailed that I would swear you wrote them for the premiere issue of Vanity Fair.

... But maybe, I should start with the absolutely fantastic arch writing / dialogue that you filled the banquet scene with? Noel Coward would be impressed.

... Perhaps it should be the humor as a slightly obtuse Aragorn tries to keep up with the machinations of his elven friend and brothers.
I know!" Elladan said, raising one finger pedantically. "We shall discuss wardrobe."
"Having new furniture made?" Aragorn asked innocently. Legolas almost choked on his miruvor.

*sigh*

Oh, good grief. I can't even figure out where to start this review. There's too much to mention. I'd probably just end up quoting the whole blessed chapter and waste Jasta's time. After all, she wrote it. She knows what the chapter says and how wonderful it is. I shouldn't bother her.

*LKK slinks off to read Chapter 4: Part the Fourth: A Journey in the Dark*
