| SlightlyTookish: I always reread your stories with so much pleasure! Last year I read this vignette for the MEFA's, but today I happened to re-read it again and enjoying it so much! Again :) I just love the loving teasing between the cousins and Sam's careful answers not to hurt everyone's feeling. But then, just so perfectly Sam when he observes the three with Aragorn:"Sometimes they're even worse." That is so well-timed and so fitting! So hobbity and so incredibly well written. | Very nice! I did like Frodo's description for his cousins well done, and in Gandalf's voice through Frodo ;) If that makes any sense at all. | That was very funny. I loved how Merry and Pippin weren't actually sure if Frodo was teasing or not. The moment between Sam and Aragorn was cute too. I liked how Sam could tease with Aragorn but not with the others. He felt like he had to stay out of the family teasing but it was alright to have a jest with Aragorn. Author Reply: You're exactly right! Sam didn't want to get involved this time, especially when he saw that Frodo was handling the situation himself.
