I have already read all that you have posted so far, but I would greatly desire to read more of this. Orodreth is still not my favorite character no matter how many times people have written him their best sympathetic form. He is not innocent. He sent his own Uncle or brother whichever one you go by to his death. At least he could have said something to try and stop the Feanorians no matter how bleak the chance was they could win the people over. Finrod would not have let a reckless, rash, and rude mortal like Turin(no matter how much he likes the mortal men)take control of the largest realm in all Beleriand, especially since Fingon's realm has fallen, Gondolin is hidden, and Thingol is hiding behind his wife. If only Felagund had lived...
