Aw, poor fish-out-of-water Boromir! I'm sure that Faramir missed him too! Loved the way you incorporated "Heinlein" via the title.

Author Reply: I always feel for him, completely out of his depth with thesepointy-eared folk.

SSP: did you ever read my drabble series, "Seven Deadly Sins" here or at HASA? It's all about Boromir at Imladris, poor guy, not having any fun at all.

lovely little drabbles! excellent use of words, especially that last one!

Author Reply: Thanks!
Yep, that's the one that got the most attention - Boromir and Duran Duran. A stretch, but great fun to write though.

Ah, manly males and plays on words - great little exercise!

Author Reply: Oh, and the giggling as I wrote! I still giggle every time I reread it.
Actually, it was inspired by the bathing scene in "Much Ado About Nothing" - what glorious flesh! what we get to see of it, anyway.

Lovely moment with Sam and his kids! I can just see him reading to all of them, and of course he's reading the SILM!

Author Reply: You, Raksha, planted the seed for this story with your own Huan drabble. Thanks!

Very funny! Alas for Duran, Duran!

Nice to see that Boromir appreciates his younger sib's quality!

Author Reply: That one was the toughest of all the drabbles I wrote that day!
Poor Boromir - I bet he kicked himself more than once for shoving his little brother out of the way that time!
