You have captured Eomer’s pain , anguish, rage and despair so perfectly.
Thank you for writing such a great piece.

Great job, shieldmaiden! I love how you wrote this. Eomer's grief and rage are so REAL. Beautiful story. Thanks for sharing. :)

Author Reply: Thank you for reading it! I was afraid it would end up being too close to the movie when I wrote it, but I'm glad you liked it. :)

Despair, Hope, Despair and Hope again. A lovely insight of what Eomer was going through -- to have found his sister on the battlefield and believed her dead, only to find she lived. You've captured Eomer wonderfully, along with the emotion and intensity of the battle.

Author Reply: Thanks! I wrote this one awhile back, after the theatrical release of Return of the King came out, because I was disappointed that the scene they kept showing with the two of them after the battle in the teaser had been cut from the movie. The anguish on his face in that shot was what inspired this. I'm glad you liked it. :)

Really well-penned! You've captured Eomer's shock and despair quite well. I have always imagined the anguish that Eomer would experience finding his sister on the battlefield. You've realised it wonderfully!

Possibly any more to the story?

Author Reply: MM- this was intended to be a one-shot, sorry! I did play around with it a little more in another story I'm in the process of putting up here (it will take me awhile because it's 20+ chapters so far, and I've been revising some of the earlier chapters as I go), but that's more from Eowyn's perspective. If I come up with anything else though, I would definitely consider continuing this. And thanks for reading it!

This was a very touching story and I thought you did a wonderful job of portraying Eomer's feelings and thoughts about his sister. Very moving!
