| this has been a really enjoyable story and a pleasure to read. i love the way frodo's snowballs seemed so innocent and pathetic, and ended up deadly! the wolf sniffing gandalf's pipeweed pouch and then sneezing is an image which will be engraved in my mind forever! a really vivid and well-written story. congrats! |

Well, I finally made it through all 18 chapters! This is a marvelous, moving, exciting and joyous story! I particularly like the good parts you gave to Pippin, being an avid Pippin fan, but you do a wondertul job with the entire Fellowship. It was a terrific read!

| Whoa! This story is excellent. I can see why Marigold gave it a Best Bet! I've just finished reading the glacier and wolf parts and now am exhausted. Your descriptions are wonderful. It felt like I was there with the fellowship on top of the ice. And I loved Gandalf's rapport with the wolf leader! I'm eagerly awaiting more chapters! |
