| wonderful and great, loved this story and I am looking forward to the next one. Liked Pippen killing the troll and saving Aragorn, and then passing out tea instead of wine, how very much like a hobbit. |

| I enjoyed how this seemed to be Pippin's observations on Aragorn. I liked the way Aragorn reassured everyone while Pippin watched and wondered how it was done. Lovely chapter! |

| I really love this story- great characterization, especially of Merry and Pippin. Also, there aren't many stories encapsulating this part of the story, which makes this even more interesting. I look forward to more! |

| great story, I love how the ride to the black gate, is being written as Pippin's thoughts. How Aragorn understands that not all the men can do this, so he gives them something that they can do. looking forward to more |

| Great chapter. I like Pippin's stable comparison and I also like the fact that he is concerned over wanting to kill, even Orcs. Show much about the hobbits and how innocent they are. I am enjoying this very much! |

| I am enjoying this very much. Hope there is more soon. I like the description of how Aragorn looks like a king at times and then looks like Strider again. I do think that the hobbits would have preferred him to remain Strider in most cases. Lovely story! |

| Excellent, as always. I particularly like your characterization of Imrahil, as fussy and nervous. And I love Aragorn's "magic trick" with the Elessar! Actually, I like seeing all of Aragorn's skills - his tracking, experience, knowledge of history, etc. Looking forward to reading more of this. |
