Clearing the Heir  by Lindelea 5 Review(s)

As I have much time to read at the moment, expect some more reviews! ;-)

A very satisfying gap-filler: it is very probable that Lobelia badgered Bilbo like this, as is a continuation of her attraction to his spoons.

All seem to be very much in character, and I really enjoyed this!

Author Reply: Goodness, clicking into the reviews for this story I see that I meant to carry on, and then got distracted, for I haven't even answered the reviews for the last chapter. I have a lovely vision of Bilbo driving up to Brandy Hall and getting smacked by a snowball thrown by guess-who...

Spoons, and other things. I have this mental picture of Lobelia, sitting at tea in the parlour at Bag End, and Bilbo nips out to fetch something or other and comes back to find her measuring and muttering about fitting her furniture in.

Thanks!

Oh, a new Lindelea story, out of this world as usual.

‘I didn’t say I don’t have an heir,’ Bilbo said, for an idea had been growing in his mind at the thought of Buckland. Frodo Baggins. He’s already a Baggins, as it were. How much trouble would it be...?

Yay! My hero's coming on the scene! Love this story and can't wait to see those blue eyes again!

Thanks Lindelea! Awesome! I'll keep an eye out for the next chapter!

Please don't stop there! At least let us have the scene where Bilbo meets Frodo!
Am curious to how Bilbo thinks of the lad when they meet

Good characterization. And Pip still to come!

Like the elaborate chapter titles.

Run, Bilbo - Buckland should be safe for Yule at any rate - and suggest a longer term solution.
