| I love them! I remember thinking when I read the books that they'd be perfect parents. They should have had kids. I love this: "Many things that seem foolish really are not at all." | I've just had a horrible argument with poor Kitty about how putting Arwen in there was a feminist, 20th and 21st century change, so typical of modern movies. I should just be grateful they didn't make it more that way. Author Reply: *nods* I guess they needed a "Love interest" or something like that. In my humble opinion, they shoulda left Glorfindel in and filmed the scene of Aragorn and Arwen's meeting to give it some romance. *grins* | |

| I just read all of your conversations, and I loved them. You have a good eye/ear for hobbits talking. How about one of Frodo and Sam after they cross the Anduin but before they meet up with Smeagol? Author Reply: Oooo interesting idea.....*authors brain clicks into work mode* I appreciate the compliment, the hobbit eye/ear one. It's been heartily developed by various fantasy authors, here and elsewhere. One pre-Smeagol post-Anduin conversie comin' up! | |
